Elitfönster 100 years: A digital event that brought the whole industry together
"How do we create commitment and confidence when the whole industry is on its knees?" This was the question asked by Elitfönster, which decided to invest its way out of the crisis and needed to get its retailers on board.
A digital broadcast was the starting point for a year that will contain new activities and opportunities. A year when the Småland company also turns 100 years old.
The mission
When the recession hit the construction industry hard, Elitfönster wanted to do something that stood out - something that showed faith in the future when times felt tough. At the same time, the company was celebrating 100 years, and the anniversary was the perfect starting point to show customers and retailers that Elitfönster is continuing to invest.
The aim was to create an activity that would both inspire and engage the company's target audiences - from house builders and architects to construction companies and retailers - and set the tone for the anniversary year.
The solution
Elitfönster has customers all over Sweden. Instead of a traditional event, we proposed a digital format. We had the company's salespeople gather locally with their customers. From there, they could then participate in the event, along with all other customers, salespeople and Elit staff across the country
During an hour filled with energy and pace, Elitfönster presented its largest investment ever and two completely new window families. CEO Jonas Hernborg and acting CEO Peter Welin shared insights into the situation at Elitfönster and Inwido. Participants also received future forecasts from Johan Melbäck (Prognoscentret) and David Johnsson (Trä- och Möbelföretagen), as well as inspiration on sustainability, sales, marketing - and of course a grand 100-year celebration.
The broadcast was built around Elitfönster's core values: simplicity, sustainability and quality - in Småland. We created a studio right at the heart of the business, at the head office in Vetlanda, with production as a natural backdrop. This gave the broadcast a genuine sense of proximity and reinforced the message of the company's roots and future strength.
The result
The response exceeded all expectations. 700 participants followed the broadcast from north to south. Through a clear dramaturgy and a warm tone, Elitfönster managed to convey both faith in the future, pride and a hefty dose of Småland's "damn good spirit".
The event was just the kickstart the anniversary year needed, and a clear signal to the market and employees: Elitfönster is looking ahead, with both tradition and courage behind it.
